The HOPE Centre model is built around two distinct ministry expressions working side by side.

Both are united by one mission: Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

HOPE Centre serves as the intentional ministry arm, providing structured oversight for outreach, discipleship, teaching, and spiritual growth. It exists to equip, encourage, and edify believers through Bible studies, Scripture distribution, and Gospel-centred initiatives that focus on spiritual formation and calling people to Christ.

Friends Coffee Shop & Christian Bookstore serves as the business arm, providing a welcoming environment where friendships, fellowship, and faith naturally unfold. It operates through café service, hospitality, and a curated selection of Bibles and Christian resources. These elements create natural opportunities for conversation and connection while also helping to sustain the ministry financially.

Together, these two expressions create complementary pathways for ministry—one intentional and structured, the other relational and organic—supported through both charitable giving and business revenue, with the shared mission of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the centre of everything.

Bringing the HOPE Centre Model to Your Community

We are currently prayerfully seeking like-minded believers who sense a calling to establish a HOPE Centre in their own community.

This is not simply a business opportunity or a standalone ministry—it is a structured model designed to support long-term Gospel outreach through both intentional ministry and a sustainable business expression.

Each HOPE Centre will be built on the same foundation, but naturally takes shape within its own community context as relationships grow, doors open, and local needs are identified.

Who This Is For:

A HOPE Centre may be a good fit for you if you:

  • Have a clear desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ

  • Carry a heart for both discipleship and evangelism

  • Value creating space for meaningful relationships and conversation

  • Are willing to lead or steward both a ministry and a business environment

  • Feel called to build something that serves the Church and reaches the unchurched

This is a hands-on model that requires faith, leadership, and a willingness to engage with both ministry and operational responsibilities.

What We Provide:

Those who step into the HOPE Centre model are not doing so alone.

We provide:

  • A clear operational and ministry framework

  • Guidance on implementing both the HOPE Centre and Friends Coffee Shop & Christian Bookstore model

  • Support in understanding structure, flow, and purpose of each expression

  • Branding direction and foundational setup support

  • Ongoing relational connection with the HOPE Centre network

While each location is locally led, the model itself provides a clear foundation to build from.

What Remains Locally Led:

Each HOPE Centre is shaped by the community it serves.

Local leadership is responsible for:

  • Day-to-day operations

  • Staff and volunteer leadership

  • Community relationships and engagement

  • Ministry direction within the HOPE Centre framework

  • Business operation of the coffee shop and bookstore expression

This ensures each location remains authentic, responsive, and rooted in its own community while staying aligned with the overall model.
