How We Live Out Our Mission
We seek to live out our mission in two complementary ways.
Intentionally — through Bible studies, workshops, worship gatherings, discipleship opportunities, and biblically grounded resources that equip believers to grow in their faith.
Naturally — through everyday conversations, meaningful relationships, hospitality, and a welcoming environment where encouragement and fellowship happen organically.
Together, these intentional and everyday moments help fulfill our mission of equipping, encouraging, and edifying believers to confidently share the Gospel of Jesus Christ while shining His light throughout our community.

Promoting growth in Christian knowledge, faith, and holiness.

ENCOURAGING
Gathering as believers, encouraging each other; and strengthening up a community of followers of Jesus Christ.

What We Are
We are a MINISTRY.
The Hope Centre is an unincorporated association. We are an unregistered, not-for-profit ministry.
We are a BUSINESS.
The Friends Coffee Shop & Christian Bookstore is a registered corporation.
Together, these two expressions create complementary pathways for ministry—one intentional and structured, the other relational and organic.
Why We Do it
We believe, as Christians, we are called to love one another and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
"I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow."

Before the doors of HOPE Centre ever opened, there were people who believed in the vision, prayed over it, encouraged it, worked to help build it, and faithfully stood alongside it.
To our original HOPE Centre Board—thank you.
Thank you for helping lay the foundation upon which HOPE Centre stands today. You gave your time, your hands, your prayers, your encouragement and your hearts. You volunteered, helped prepare and build, celebrated the grand opening and anniversaries, participated in the life of the ministry, and stood with us through its early days.
As the needs of HOPE Centre have changed and the ministry has grown, your role as a board has changed as well. Yet the impact of what you gave in those beginning days remains.
Some of you continue to serve, volunteer and support HOPE in different ways, and for that we are deeply grateful.
The foundation of HOPE Centre is, and always will be, Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone. But God used each of you to help build the foundation of this ministry here on earth—and we will never forget it.
