Mental Health Nursing - RPN - Clinical Mlitfaith Chaplan - Addiction Counsellor |Waypoint Centre | 2018 - Present
From 2018-2023 I worked as an RPN throughout the hospital. This gave me the opportunity to
observe the roles of multiple disciplines and the functions of a variety of programs. From
2023 -2024 I served as a Clinical Multifaith Chaplain for a 54 week contract. During this period,
I led religious groups, organized religious visits from multiple faith groups, participated in
ethical consults, and provided spiritual counselling for the patients. As of more recently I
started a contract in the position of Addiction Counsellor for Acute Assessment Swing. My
diverse experience at Waypoint has made me an exceptionally well-rounded professional in
caring for individuals with a variety of complex needs (physically, mentally, and spiritually).

Chaplan | Sunset and Georgian Manor 2018 - 2023
Within this role I regularly worked with residents who have a variety of needs related to their
spirituality, emotions, and mental health. Clients discuss challenges of losing loved ones,
mental/emotional health, physical limitations/decompensation, loss of memory,
loneliness/isolation, and addiction. After years of experience as a chaplain/minister, I have
learned to assess residents’ needs, create individualized spiritual care plans, provide Cognitive
Behavior Therapy, and utilize different resources geared towards their individual needs. I
frequently provide spiritual palliative care, offer emotional support and grief counselling for
family members, and when asked I help with leading funeral services. I also regularly led
chapel services in the auditorium with music and presenting a sermon.

Assistant Pastor | Oak Ridges Christian Fellowship | 2008 - 2012
During my time as an Assistant Pastor, I was involved in the strategic planning and helped make
critical leadership decisions. I created content and publicly spoke at weekly services, gave
spiritual and emotional counsel to congregation members, organized multiple community
outreach programs, led and developed content for a midweek small group, and started a
weekly youth drop-in-center within the local community.

Family Pastor | Always Care Christian Ministries | 2005 - 2008
Upon completion of my degree, I worked in this position as my first pastoral role. With a focus
on developing programs that provided for the needs of families; I created and organized
congregational activities/events, offered counselling, developed Sunday school lessons for
youth and children, and often present Sunday sermons.
